Thus, the camera offers an exposure time of 1/4000 per second when using the mechanical shutter, and when using the electronic shutter, the fastest shutter speed is 1/8000.

So this sensor also offers the ISO performance of the R6 II, which can be set up to a value of 102,400, allowing for short exposure times in the dark with the aperture closed.

The Deep Learning AF of the Canon EOS R8, which is retracted thanks to the Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, offers another plus with its versatile subject detection.
